How it works

  • Entelechy Therapy, LLC partners with Thrizer, a third-party company, to help determine if your insurance plan has any out of network benefits.

  • If OON benefits are approved by Thrizer, clients have the option of utilizing Thrizer Pay- where Thrizer will pay for a portion (or potentially all) of your session fee. You may need to pay a small co-insurance portion (like a copay for seeing the doctor). The specifics of this agreement is based on your insurance plan and what options Thrizer offers you. Thrizer may charge a small fee.

  • If OON benefits are approved, clients have the option of paying the full rate for their session at the time of session out of pocket (via card, check, or cash) and then recieve reimbursement through Thrizer. This reimbursement happens much quicker and easier than trying to request reimbursement through your insurance directly. Thrizer may charge a small fee.

    Clients also have the option of uploading documentation of sessions (commonly called a "superbill") to Thrizer and recieving reimbursement from their insurance through Thrizer quickly and easily. Thrizer may charge a small fee.

    Entelechy Therapy, LLC only provides the minimum necessary information to Thrizer and your insurance company. By not being in network with insurance companies directly, Entelechy Therapy, LLC retains more control over your information to help protect your privacy and maintain your ability to advocate for the treatment you deserve.

  • Entelechy Therapy, LLC is not paneled directly with insurance, which means we are not "in network" with insurance and therefore cannot bill insurance directly.

    Instead, many insurance companies and plans offer benefits for "out-of-network" mental health providers. Entelechy Therapy, LLC makes use of these out-of-network benefits where possible. Thrizer, as a third-party company, is used by Entelechy Therapy to make the process of accessing and applying those out-of-network benefits easier and more straightforward for clients.

    Not all insurance companies or insurance plans will offer out-of-network benefits. Entelechy Therapy, LLC does not guarantee any amount of coverage by insurance companies or Thrizer. It is still the client's responsibility to provide payment at the time of session, whether through Thrizer, other third party payors, or self-pay.

  • When requested, Entelechy Therapy, LLC can check your OON benefits through your insurance company and plan.

    To run this check, Entelechy Therapy, LLC will need certain pieces of information from you including your full legal name, your date of birth, and your insurance policy number.

    If you would like to have your therapist check for OON benefits, feel free to ask them during your next session.

  • Once your therapist confirms that you have OON benefits, your therapist will help you create an account with Thrizer and select the payment option that works best for you.

    Your therapist will also review an updated fee agreement with you to ensure you have clarity about how finances are being handled.

    The setup process should only take a couple of minutes.

  • Thrizer offers support with any denied claims and communicates with your insurance to help resolve any issues that arise.

    Thrizer communicates this information with you, the client. Entelechy Therapy, LLC does not have the ability to resolve these issues on your behalf but can provide additional documentation if requested.
