Fees for Therapy Services

Entelechy Healing Collective accepts cash, check, debit/credit cards, and HSA/FSA cards.

We also accept payment from third-party payors, like Thrizer, who make use of your insurance's out-of-network benefits.

Conrad is an in network provider with some insurance companies and can bill them directly for therapy services.

Other providers at Entelechy Healing Collective are not in network with insurance companies or not in network with all insurance companies or all insurance plans. This means that Entelechy Healing Collective does not bill your insurance directly in these cases. Entelechy Healing Collective is what is called a “self-pay” or “cash-pay” provider which means the client pays for therapy directly at the time service is provided.

Entelechy Healing Collective can offer an itemized list of charges, often called a “superbill” which can be given to insurance. Depending on your insurance policy and your out of office network benefits, you may be eligible to receive some form of repayment from your insurance.

Yes, some providers at Entelechy Healing Collective are Medicaid Providers.

Check with your provider to see if they are in network with your medicaid provider.

Short answer: It shouldn’t be. But our health care system and economic system is broken. So therapists have to charge enough money to live under the pressures of late-stage capitalism while also being able to run a business with employees who must have years of specialized training.

Long answer: Entelechy Healing Collective is not a general therapy practice. All of our clinicians have advanced training, certification, and degrees beyond what is generally considered the minimum for someone providing therapy. As a part of these advanced credentials, all of our clinicians have unique areas of specialty that make them exceptional at what they do. We are not the right fit for everyone. When we are the right fit, we strive to provide an exemplary therapy experience from our first point of contact through discharge and beyond.

What we charge is determined based on sound business practices. We constantly collect expense and profit information to ensure we are meeting the requirements for running a business in the state of Colorado while providing a comfortable and nurturing work environment for our employees.

We also think that no one should have to pay for therapy because it should be made available to everyone at no charge. Until that is a reality, we are actively working to develop new systems and policies which allow us to function as a business that meets its financial obligations, creates financial security and abundance for its employees, and keeps client costs as low as possible.

One way Entelechy Healing Collective accomplishes this vision is by offering a set number of “sliding scale” session slots which are available at a discounted fee (from 75% of total session fee to 0% of total session fee). Additionally, we stay connected with local mental health agencies and providers who do accept insurance or charge less for their service and offer their information to clients who ask for it.

Entelechy Healing Collective also offers session lengths that are longer than the typical session time in an effort to maximize the effectiveness of our time together, encourage therapy work at a deeper and more transformative level, and reduce total cost associated with therapy that is prolonged due to insufficient session time. We hope to save you time in the long run by increasing the “dosage” of time spent in therapy so that you can come in, make progress towards your goals, and graduate out of therapy in an efficient manner.

Entelechy Healing Collective’s mission is to provide extraordinary care to clients who fall outside of the “norm” in terms of mental health provider’s training or expertise. We provide a specialized service for clients that often belong to disadvantaged or systematically oppressed groups.

Because of this, Entelechy Healing Collective offers out-of-network insurance benefit management support through Thrizer as well as a sliding scale program which offers discounted therapy prices ranging from 90% of the listed session fee to 0% of the listed session fee.

In this way, as a company we aim to “donate” at least 10% of our listed session fee to clients experiencing financial pressure or hardship through the use of the sliding scale system.

We are also happy to provide suggestions of providers in the community who may take a specific insurance plan or offer reduced session fee therapy.

A Good Faith Estimate is provided electronically through SimplePractice, the electronic health record system used by Entelechy Healing Collective, at the time an intake session scheduled. It is also reviewed during the intake session. Clients are able to request a GFE at any time by emailing Conrad at conrad@entelechyhc.com
