Hi! I’m Conrad.

I am glad you are here!

Finding a therapist who is a good fit for you is important. I have included some information about myself and how I do therapy below.

Feel free to look it over.

If you are interested in learning more about me or getting started with therapy, you can reach out to me through text, phone call, or email.

To get started with therapy and see if I am a good fit, you can schedule a free consultation appointment.

  • I am a queer, neurodivergent therapist who specializes in issues faced by queer, neurodivergent folks including trauma, relationships, and sex issues. I use they/them pronouns and identify as non-binary/ genderqueer. I am white and was born the oldest child to white, upper-middle class parents. I hold no ethnic connection to any particular group as a result of the United States's conceptualization of race- specifically the patriarchal, colonizing, white supremacist construction of "whiteness". I was raised as a part of the Evangelical Christian church although I am no longer a part of any religious group. I was born and raised in the greater Los Angeles area of California. I have been married to my husband since 2020.

I received my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro University in April 2023. I also hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a master’s degree in Special Education, and am enrolled in a Doctorate in Health Science program specializing in clinical leadership and transgender health care. I am also the co-owner of Entelechy Healing Collective. In addition to therapy, I also work as an advocate, researcher, and educator with a focus on sex and gender.

Outside of the office, I love watching movies, taking my seven-pound Pomeranian puppy (pictured above) out for walks in the park, and obsessively searching for the best cup of coffee in Northern Colorado. I also write poetry, read feminist theory, and pour obscene numbers of hours into strategy and RPG video games in my free time.

  • I am currently licensed in the state of Colorado as a Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate. I am under the supervision of Helen Wyatt, LMFT. She can be contacted at hwyatt.mft@gmail.com or 773-629-4842

  • I grew up and went to college in Southern California (just outside of Los Angeles). After graduating, I started working as an educator and fell in love with helping people learn and grow. This passion continued when I moved to Colorado and started working with non-profit organizations that advocated for individuals with disabilities and other underserved people groups.

Eventually, I decided I wanted to develop a more sophisticated clinical skill set so that I could be a more present and effective agent of change. After completing my first Masters degree and a professional certification in Applied Behavior Analysis, I began working with families and children across the state of Colorado. In doing this work, I became more deeply convinced of the power of evidence-based treatment, creative problem solving, and playful connection. I also quickly realized how little I knew and how much more there is to learn.

Having completed my second master’s degree, I have pivoted my focus to individuals and couples, particularly when impacted by issues related to their relationships, sexuality, gender, trauma, and Neurodiversity. As a queer, neurodiverse person myself, this work is something I am deeply passionate about. Outside of work, I spend my time reading, watching movies, and exploring Northern Colorado with my husband. The picture above is my husband and I picking locally grown pumpkins- something that didn’t happen much where I grew up!

  • If you want to hear me completely nerd out, ask me about:

  • My personal and professional perspective is informed by a commitment to social justice, community-mindedness, feminist theory, queer theory, and disability theory. I value creativity, accountability and questioning established power structures. I tell the truth. Professionally, I see empowering my clients with accurate information, access to high quality medical care, and the removal of barriers as a top priority. I am sex positive, drug-neutral, and non-pathologizing in my thinking and clinical work. I endeavor to help my clients explore and refine their own, authentic voice.

  • My goal as a therapist is to be helpful to you while also being respectful of your time and money.

I want to offer perspectives, tools, and experiences that you can use to deepen your understanding of yourself, of the challenges you are facing, and of your own innate power to transmute those challenges into opportunities for refinement and growth.

My general approach balances being warm, empathetic, and validating with making observations, encouraging ways of practicing new patterns of thoughts and behaviors, and building up your confidence in your own intuition and abilities.

The therapeutic approach I use is integrative- making use of research-informed, evidenced based practices as well as the art of creating healing spaces and encounters.

Specifically, I use the following therapeutic modalities most often in my work:

Narrative Therapy (informed by Queer, Feminist, and Disability theory)

    Solution-Focused Brief Therapy

    Psychoanalytic/Psychodynamic Approaches

Experiential Approaches: Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Human Validation Process Model, Gestalt Therapy
